With the each major update to MacOS it is becoming more and more difficult to get devices setup in a way that is safe for education.
In upcoming releases of MacOS it is reported that AD authentication through directory mapping will be removed and users will need to look at alternatives.
Additionally with the integration of changes to the system extensions security it is a much more difficult task to deploy safeguarding/filtering products and can cause reliability issues when installing these types of product.
These changes were necessary but there seems to be little to no support from Apple on this with developers.
Does anyone have any thoughts on this topic or ways that you have got round the headache?
